Well I just finished another book:

16: Don’t Make Me Think: A Common Sense Approach to Web Usability, Steve Krug

It was originally for a class, but since I finished it after receiving the grade, I think it counts! I try to make sure I read all the textbooks for my design and advertising classes so I can gain as much knowledge as possible. This book is very helpful for anyone wanting to get involved in web design and the author pointed out some very good design principles that should be used in any design medium. He also is witty and has a great sense of humor!

I know that I will not complete my ideal goal of 50 books this year. With my busy life, 50 was quite a hard number to achieve, but the point was to get myself to read more books and I needed a concrete number to strive for. In 2010, I am setting a goal to read 25 books which I think it much more achievable. Plus, when I graduate I won’t have school books to read. When I do read it will be all for myself and my own pleasure and knowledge. :)

    14: Breaking Dawn, Stephenie Meyer

Wow! I LOVE the way this book turned out! It’s most definitely my favorite in the series. It makes me want to jump back in with Team Edward because it worked out so well. Of course I still loooove Jacob’s character, and I think Taylor is hot, but Edward reminds me more of my fiance, and you can’t beat that! Every night I read the book, I actually had dreams that I was invincible or something, like I wasn’t actually human and my fiance was with me. :) It was a really good dream! I’m really happy that I read these books. I didn’t expect to like them so well.

I’m starting to read Harry Potter and Philosophy, so I’m still keeping up with the reading bug!

So at this point I am most definitely on Team Jacob! I finally understand the meaning of it now! I love Jacob and my obsession is probably fueled by how hott Taylor Lautner is!

10: Lady in Waiting: Developing Your Love Relationships, Jackie Kendall and Debbie Jones

I really needed to finish this one asap before it got too close to my wedding. It’s about developing yourself while you are single so that you will be prepared for your love relationships and marriage. I was supposed to read it for a bible study when I was in 6th grade, but the way it was written wouldn’t have quite reached me in that stage of my life. It is written more for single adults who want to get married really bad than for teenagers or middle schoolers like I was.

My fiance have started reading a book for our pre-wedding counseling called Adam and Eve Today. We are reading it together, so it will be longer before I finish that one.

I'm becoming a fast reader... 5 months ago

or maybe it’s that I have a job where I do nothing but watch a computer lab for 2 hours… 2 great hours for reading. I get a lot done.

    9: Twilight, Stephenie Meyer

I finished it today and then proceeded to watch half the movie online haha. I’m trying not to get hooked like I am by Harry Potter, but I don’t think it could ever be the same. However, I really enjoy the romance that is lacking in the Potter series. Plus, Edward Cullen is so hot in the movie and when I imagine him ;)

8: The Power of LESS: the fine art of limiting yourself to the essential… in business and in life, Leo Babauta

Great read for anyone who struggles with clutter in their life and wants to be free of it. It also shows you a great strategy to help accomplish your life goals.

I also started on one of my books that I’ve owned for years and havent read and I started reading my new Dreams book :)
