build a bird house

This is something I have wanted to do for some time now, as a sort of personal project. It is not something I plan to start right away so I have only researched the subject briefly. This past weekend, while visiting a hardware store, I came across various bags of food to attract different types of birds as well as already built bird houses. It was nice to think about how that would eventually be part of my project and to think about the possible structure of the house. I look forward to working on this.

I have been looking for a birfhouse that would look nice in my future garden, but I can’t find one that I truly like… soooo, I am going to atempt to build one..I mean, how hard can it be?

I took Spiky’s advise and build a very small one because it was the easiest (I was short on wood, too). I screwed up the measurements and had to add a little at the front and remove a lot from the bottom piece. But even though I would say it was a success.

The harder the better. This is not mine, but I wish I could make one of those
