i saw a lunar eclipse but it turned cloudy. actually, the best thing about it was that there were so many people on facebook at the time and everyone was posting comments and there was so much energy. and people were like “whoa this is 30 earth-diameters away!”

actually i can’t really remember. that might have been 30 earth radii. either way it’s far away.

Saw the eclips in Egypt in 2006. Completely amazing! If you have the chance to see a complete eclips anywhere, go… Be prepared to get hooked…

I was in Baja California in `91 for seven amazing minutes of totality right at noon on an absoloutely clear day. Floating on my back in the Bahia de La Paz watching that was an ncredible experience!!

...when the teacher mentioned that it was on the news that there would be a solar eclipse today. I took the words about it only coming once in a long time to heart, and decided i really ought to experience the eclipse by getting a good glimpse. I went to the window to look directly at it, and I was watching it comfortably when the teacher told me to get away from the window. She closed all the blinds so us little kiddies wouldn’t hurt our eyes…
