So far so good — 4 weeks ago
I went from veg (dairy/eggs) to vegan…and so far so good..it seems natural and right…so I think this one should be just fine.

I have been vegan for about 4 months. I have no complaints. I would like to continue limiting my preservative/filler/chemical intake. I typically don’t (try not to) eat junk food, vegan or otherwise, and I have been getting flat bread which is vegan but full of chemical preservatives since I haven’t been able to find any otherwise.
Also, I want to stop buying/making vegan cookies and vegan desserts. This is probably something I do once every two weeks, but I end up feeling like crap afterwards. I felt much better without sugar in my diet.

I have been vegitarian then pesciterian for a while now, but I just decided today I a back to a vegan yay!!!
Worth doing!
Not only was I vegan but raw vegan for the past two months, now I’m back to just vegan and I’m planning to go back all raw. So staying vegan is in the bag for me :)
I do pretty well on my diet.
I don’t eat meat and have not done so in years thankfully.
And just recently thought to take out dairy for medical and animal benefits.
I personally don’t appreciate how animals are treated, but I don’t push that on other people.
So, No more dairy.
Worth doing!
I eyed all the Valentine’s chocolates that are already covering the table in the faculty room. They smelled good, but I wasn’t tempted. After work, a parent brought me a dark chocolate, caramel filled cupcake from Kara’s Cupcakes. It looked heavenly and I sincerely thanked her. I was able to find a willing volunteer right away to take it off my hands.
I have no problems keeping this goal up. I can’t really imagine not choosing to stay vegan. Now, to include more raw foods back into my diet.
Worth doing!
with this goal. Right now I can’t imagine veering from this path. There are other things that I am working out right now around my nutrition and for once I am eating more consciously. Not ready to mark this goal as complete, but this is a good point to reflect on my progress.
Worth doing!
I’ve been a full fledged vegan for over nine months now.
There’s no way I’m turning back. I’ve given up dairy for good. Eggs for good. Meat has been out of the picture for eleven years.
Now to rid my diet of honey and silly animal by-products that try to sneak their way into my life. For example, I was staying with some Sisters this past week. And the liquid soap in the bathroom, not only did it have an animal by-product, it also had milk and honey. Milk and honey!? C’mon, is that really necessary??
I’ve been pretty healthy, paying attention to everything that enters my body. Currently I’m on 4 supplements (zinc, vitamins d and k, and calcium), and we’ll see how that works.
Sometimes people understand, and sometimes they don’t. Sometimes they show respect (one even “admired” me), and sometimes they don’t. Many ask questions. It seems like veganism is easily misunderstood, especially since it’s not mainstream enough where I live. That’s okay though. I will continue trying to live as compassionate a life style as possible. That’s what veganism is all about.
I think it’s time to mark this goal as complete. Thanks for all your help and support :)
