repair my marriage

Sunday we went to a dinner party together. I almost didn’t go because I was afraid I’d slip and try to initiate some kind of heavy relationship conversation. Thankfully had a nice evening. As it would happen though we got in a fight last night. I felt neglected and my attempt at a cover-up failed. As a result he felt attacked. He says I give him an inordinantely hard time. It’s hard to disagree… He said he wanted out of the marriage… again. I told him it wasn’t going to happen. Somehow I managed managed to turn it around and we went to bed without any lingering acrimony. This morning I apologized. I can really see how it is from his point of view. I came from a critical, withholding, household and I know how it feels to be on the receiving end of that b.s. He took responsibility for not been doing his part to make how we communicate and relate better. He admitted that he keeps trying to take the easy way out. He says that tonight we’re going to sit together and start making a plan… Meanwhile I’m still looking for a job and I need to clean the kitchen.

Ive been married for 8years and all of a sudden my wife tells me that im suffercating her she started a new job about 8 1/2 months ago im a stay at home dad i see my wife about 9hours aweek she doesent do anything wene she gets home i let her relaxe i do everthing for her and for the past month she tells me this shes not being herself help me please..!!!!

I liked the e book plus coaching phone support. I screwed up so many times I thought I’d lost, but I finally trained myself to SHOW my husband how much I appreciated him – and he stopped being a jerk. MY action…his reaction.

Over the last few years we have had a lot of problems, but I feel like we have really made tons of progress in the past few months. We are communicating more openly and I am being more truthful with him about everything. He is helping me with the finances and we have a definate plan to get out of debt. That is where most of our problems stemmed from and with that in the open we are doing much better. I think I can now safely mark this as DONE!

We have been working together to get out of debt and handling the money issues. We are on vacation in another week and everything seems pretty relaxed. I hope everything can continue this way.

I feel so guilty, but sometimes I wonder what it would have been like if I never got married. I wonder if we both would have been happier. As you guessed, there have been a lot of problems over the last few weeks. They all revolve around money which seems to be the main cause of divorce these days. I want us to be the exception, but sometimes I just have to wonder.

We have been having date night once a month now. It’s usually nothing special. Just dinner and driving around mostly, but it gives us some time together.

I betrayed my wife for the fourth time. She hasn’t left me yet but Iexpect her to. We’ve been together 6 1/2 years. I seem to go about a year everytime between looking at the internet.
Any advise how to get the habit out of me?

Next week we are taking our first week of vacation early this year. Our anniversary is on the 20th and we always try to get away for a few days, but this year we are taking a whole week. It will be nice to get away. I really need some time to unwind after the holidays and my store will be moving when I get back. We’re not doing anything really special, just going to the vacation house and relaxing for the week. I kind of wand o see Cumberland Falls in the winter. I’ve only seen it in the summer before.
