have a mountain home and a beach home

Maybe by living on a sailboat I could also combine goals like buy a boat, start surfing and fishing again, live off the grid, and also complete some of the travels/voyages I would like to make in my lifetime. Even if I had kids they could live on a sailboat, and I guess I could just do this in the summer months so they wouldn’t miss school. I could do homeschooling, but I don’t know if I would be good at that, and I think it robs children from the social side of school.

I think I would like tohave a nice mountain home on plenty of land, with a great view. It doesn’t have to be a big house, but needs to have a garden. The only problem is I miss the ocean, the warm ocean, and I miss living near my family who don’t live near mountains, or any longer close to the ocean. Maybe I could live on a sailboat or house boat part of the year, and that could be my beach house, and then live in the mountains the rest of the year. I also have to figure out the career that would allow me to do this.
