    Mrs. Rogers 3 months ago

    3) Mrs.Rogers-My 10th and 12th grade English teacher, Mrs. Rogers has enriched my life in so many ways. She’s a 52 year old woman who has been teaching English for much of her life. She drills commas and semi colons. She tells us our directions very clearly many times again and again. It may get a bit annoying, but she’s real. She spends unnecessary time talking about her life. Unnecessary to the rest of the class that is. I enjoy it so much. She is a very personable human being. She gives us insight into her life instead of simply giving us a lesson and homework. She tells us about her likes and dislikes, her husband, the fact that she finds bald men attractive, her dog, the list goes on and on. When she starts talking she gets carried away and ahead of herself and next thing she knows the class period is over. But she cares about us, each and every one of us. She wants to know about us, just as she tells us about herself. She’s blunt and bold and opinionated, yet caring, loving, and a gentle woman. She lets us express ourselves however we may choose in our compositions. She gives us as much freedom as possible in our writing. Restriction is not in her vocabulary. She thinks each and every one of us is special and I love her for that.

    Jeff 3 months ago

    2) Jeff-As I have explained in my #1 goal, here is the story behind me and Jeff…When I was 9 years old, my mom signed me up for a very secure and costly childrens chatroom so I wouldnt go on public ones. It had adult moniters in it 24/7 and was quite safe. I met a guy named Jeff shortly after I joined. After talking to him for a while (keep in mind i was 9 and we probably just talked about my dog or something haha) I found out his birthday was the same as mine which I thought was “super cool!” lol. Eventually we started talking outside of the chatroom on Yahoo! Messenger. We talked almost every night for literally hours about the most random things. My parents knew I talked to him as well because sometimes i would stay logged into my messenger account and my mom or dad would be on the computer when he said hey to me. I was a cautious child, I knew it wasn’t safe to talk to strangers on the internet, but he never once to this day has given me a reason to not trust him. Never asked for pictures or information about me. Eventually though about a year and a half ago we exchanged phone numbers and now text occasionally, a time or two a week, he has sent me voice messages of him playing guitar, we have each other on facebook, and we have told our close friends about one another. He is the most real and down to earth person I have ever met. If we went to school together I can almost guarantee that he and I would not be friends, he is quiet punk musician who isnt all about chicks or school, just his music and friends. I, on the other hand, am not in the “popular group” but have been called preppy multiple times, im just a loud fun blonde, I love school and reading and shopping and mani/pedis lol. I thank God for him though, over and over, because I know that if I lost all of my friends from school or family, he would still be there. We plan on meeting eventually in the future, who knows when, but I’m so excited for it…

It is simply too difficult to explain why he means so much to me. It’s something I can’t even begin to organize in my head let alone put it into words on here. I feel like he completes me, he is a special part of me. I’m sure he doesn’t even know it, but he has taught me so much about myself. He’s such a simple and down to earth person. I feel like there is so much more to say but I can’t form the words. I thank God for him.

    My mother 3 months ago

    1) My Mother-I can honestly say I have one of the best moms in the world. She talks about how her friends can’t stand their kids, how they can’t wait for their kids to move out. She’s different. She’s my best friend and I’m hers. Being homeschooled for 5 years and the fact that she is a stay at home mom add to this. I spend more time with my mom than my friends. I love hanging out with her. We do everything from eating at new exotic restaurants to antique and thrift shopping to jumping in the car and driving nowhere. She encourages me to be the best person I can possibly be. She encourages my uniqueness and does everything possible to help me achieve my dreams. She respects me and my opinions, but also does her best to lead me in the right direction when I’m being stubborn. I love her more than anyone or anything in this world. There are so many more things I could say about her, but it would probably take forever to write. I’ll simply leave it at this.

I think this could be quite interesting, so I will write a bit about each of the 43 people who were (or still are) somehow important in my life… I just would like to say that the order is not important here, because it would be too difficult.
