How I did it: I am on the crew team, so every week day I get up at 4 for practice and on the weekends we get up between 5:30 and 6 to go down to the water or travel to regattas. At first I was mortified at the thought of waking up at 4 but starting the day by watching the sunrise over a lake and getting a full workout in before class every morning has changed how I act and function. It is almost a week since I wrote the goal, but so far the earliest I have managed to get myself out of the bed is 7:15!
I never liked to wake up early, and my entire life I somehow convinced my sleepy self that it is okay to sleep a bit more. Either I went to bed late, or I was feeling a little under the weather or I would be more productive if I get enough rest.. all excuses and no reasons.
