I participated in my first Shambala Meditation training weekend last week. It was a big step along the path to self-acceptance. Sitting with your brain and not much other stimuli for eight hours at a stretch helps you get to know it pretty well. Turns out most other people’s brains act the same way. I feel like I’ve gained a sense of humor about myself, and a little more clarity and space in my experience of the world. 7 years ago
