be a singer/songwriter

There is such a thing, and there is one in the town I work. I went along to a concert and the people were very friendly. It’s a Sunday night, which is awkward, but only once a month for workshops and once a month for performances if you want to go along.

Well that makes this thing a little more doable!

I can actually begin to imagine it now, though I’m afraid I’ll… what? What am I afraid of?

So I finally took a song writing class in college to learn more about writing music and combining them with my lyrics.. now I have a myspace page and I’m working on recording more of the songs I wrote during the semester :DDDDDDD

I’ve wanted to play the guitar for 25 years. My wife bought me a guitar for my 30th birthday, two weeks before the birth of my first son, and now I’m learning how to play. Soon I’ll be writing my own music.

I have always wanted to be a singer/songwriter since about 14yrs of age..I absolutely love to sing and I have written about 28 songs thus far. I’ve been praying for this for so long, and as I get older it gets harder and harder for me. This is one of the things I would want to do.

songwriting is one of my passions and id really like to pursue a career in it as for singing i love it!!
