have a close group of friends

I love my mates currently. They are fantastic even though most of them I rarely get to see. I’m off to a party tomorrow! I love them. This is so done. I have my boy, my “brothers” and a few random girls. I’m set. Later, chikkas.

I used to be part of a group of seven that was super close. Sure we had our differences and there were fights every once in while but we all loved eachother. Second half of senior year (this year) we all split up. I talk to them in passing but not much anymore. I now have a few close mates not a big group of mates any more. I have so many friends that I know but am not close to. Ah well. It happens.

I used to have 3 good friends. They were good for the first year but they all started to change. One doesn’t hang with us that much anymore, the other one has become very loud and always wants to be the center of attention, and the last one became so annyoing. She’s always picking on other people’s flaws and gets mad easily. I can’t stand them anymore. We don’t even have much in common anymore. So I avoid them, I avoided them for the whole summer thinking that everything will be better. But I became lonely, and then when I went back talking to them, they just started to annoy me agian. I’ve also tried sorting things out, but that didn’t work. I can’t call them my close friends anymore.

I need new close friends.

im tired of having a bunch of “okay” friends or tons of aqauintances that i spend time with every once in a while. i want a really close knit group of friends that i can share everything with. whom i wouldnt change for the anything.

I found an awesome group of gals to hang out with in my early 20s and I was with them for a few years. Unfortuneately, the one I was closest to and I grew apart and that meant I was ousted, as I was the newest to the group & lived about 25 minutes away anyway.

It seems silly to want this for someone who will be 30 this year, but just like back then, or even in high school, everyone likes to be around a group of people they feel they belong, who share similar interests and like to do things together.

I’m working on this one though, through work and hopefully I can create a group of my own- even if it’s for 1 shopping day or lunch a month or something.

Oh my gosh once you meet them…wow. It’s awesome!

From our early childhood days, we were cabin buddies at camp. Twenty years later, we’re still tight. Those pyjama parties were always a hoot! We’re actually planning one for next month. Who said a bunch of single twenty-something ladies cah’t have a sleepover?!? Unfortunately, we won’t be knocking on any boys’ cabin door…boo-hoo

i’d like to have a group of close friends that are geographically close to me as well.
