Gina keeps asking me about this and i really want to do it soon! I crave it like an addiction. I know it will be a while before i can get another tattoo so i want to love the one that i have. I need to find time to do this! The problem really is work. The tattoo is on my foot which means that i cant wear shoes over it for a while after getting it. My job pretty much requires fully covered feet. Whats worse is at the end of may i am going to start working midnights fulltime which means it will be even harder to get enough time off. So it is kind of now or never. I need to check and see if i have any gaps in scheduling.

I loved my tattoo when i first got it but then it faded and the color came out of it so i need to get it fixed, put a different color in it. me and jean plan on going together this spring.
this should happen over the summer when i get money… i might want to get a little bit added to it, too… i was admiring my tattoo all over again today…
i’m so glad i got it. it really is the perfect expression/extension of myself.
For now, I think I will hold off on getting the tattoo touched up. It’s painful and expensive, and I have better things to spend the money on. Perhaps one day, but I’ll let it stay a little faded.
my tattoo has gone through three stages.. got it first done when i was 17.. it was supposed to be the godsmack symbol.. turned out more like a drunk spider.. thats whatcha get when its free i guess.. second time i had someone work on it i was about 20 and he did the sun and the outline of what it is now.. the sun looked like a big black blob.. i hated it. the last time i had it worked on i went through a professional that my friend had used for a few of his tats.. he filled in the sun with purple.. added pink behind it and did the ribbon parts in a bluish color.. he used some new ink that had a sorta shimmer thing that shows in the sunlight.. its neto.. only problem is the color is fading.. i can get it touched up for free but i just have to find the time to go and actually have it done…....
I discovered that it’s going to take a $100 deposit to get an appointment for touching up my tattoo. Just to get an appointment! So I’m planning to get a different tattoo first at a local studio, and then I’ll see about getting my original one touched up. They said they’d have to redo the whole thing because they use a different ink now that wouldn’t look the same, so they just have to redo it all. Sigh…
I e-mailed the studio and it turns out they will have to charge me for the touch-up. I want it anyway, though, so I think I will make an appointment for sometime in February.
I got my tattoo done at Dragon Moon in December 1999. It was five hours of sheer hell, so when it came time for my touchup after six weeks, I didn’t go. It’s an all-black piece, so there is definite shading that could be fixed.
