I’ve finally gotten tickets to see them. June 21st!

They were so incredibly good! I was jumping up and down in my seat the whole time. I was screaming my head off the entire night for them to sing “Late Greats” but they didn’t sing it until the second encore.

Tweedy’s parents were there too and he sang a song for his dad. It was cute. I imagined a toddler Tweedy dancing around and singing for his parents. I wonder what it’s like to have a famous child.

Feelings of the night:
I felt like throwing myself from the balcony on to the stage just to see the guy face to face. Pretty sad, I know, but that was my impulse.
Complete euphoria.

Feelings for today:
Hungover. (oops)
Tired. (less than 5 hours of sleep)
Complete happiness. (I will see them again, and again, and again…)

Alrighty, I’ve got two tickets… I now need a Wilco partner!

Tickets go on sale for the St. Louis show in precisely one hour and twenty-five minutes. I have no one to go with me. What a conundrum. Do I buy two tickets hoping and praying that I find someone to go with or do I buy myself a ticket and (gasp) go all alone?

I saw them in Ann Arbor last October. Amazing. I was surprised at how well they could duplicate some of the weird things they do on their albums live. They played every song I hoped they would play. The perfect concert.

Yes!!! They are coming to St. Louis on March 19! I am going to get tickets as soon as they go on sale! Now I just have to find someone to go with me. :)
