get LASIK eye correction

Probably the most expensive but best thing I’ve ever paid for

this will have to wait till after hubby graduates, but i’m still just as excited

i’ve needed corrective lenses since the 4th grade…it’s been a long time and pretty annoying, but liveable- I would love to be able to wake up without having to worry about if I got enough sleep and my eyes are stingy and can’t stand the thought of putting in contacts and have to look less attractive with glasses. I’ve heard though, that some people have had to have lasik redone for whatever reason and I really don’t know how safe it is or isn’t, any helps or info would be great

I didn’t even qualify for Lasik (cornea too thin, pupils too big), I got stuck with PRK which is similiar VERY PAINFUL. And I still love it!!!!!!! LOVE IT! Very liberating.

Husband had lasik and he is in love with it too. Just do it already.

I saw my eye doctor. I’m not a good candidate. I would likely have problems with glare. Guess I’ll go shopping for cuter frames :)

Well, I went in for the free evaluation to Lasik Plus down the street, and they said I was a candidate. A week later I went in for the scheduled surgery. The whole thing took about 8 minutes. I was pretty freaked out while it was being done but I got through it. My vision before was 20/500 (very nearsighted) and is now 20/20 in each eye!!!

I still can’t believe it. I’ve been recovering all week with my vision stabilizing, but I could see the day after the surgery.

Someone told me it’s only $700 now. I’m sick of wearing glasses/contacts all my life. I just have to find somewhere and schedule the consultation.
