find my missing uncle

Nobody returned my letters that i wrote to but im gonna go and look up that book in the library thanks for that.

Couple days ago I wrote to these to Lester Burkes and now i am waiting for their responses. I hope they get here soon.. although i think that neither one of the 2 are my uncle but hey atleast im trying to do something right.

My Uncle Lester.. Is a grown man and he decided to leave and never have any contact with his family. So i guess he really isnt missing, but to me he is. We use to be so close. He lived in Virgina Beach and I live in a small city in PA. Well i use to go down there every summer when i was younger and stay there. Also we would just go down there to visit him through out the year. Also he would visit us. That is like the only good thing i remember bout my childhood. Well his wife at the time, hurt him really bad and divorced him. I do believe she cheated on him with her ex. Im not quite sure on that though. And then he just moved and i have never heard from him again. So i really do not know what happen. He would be in his 50’s now. But i hope i do find him..

In April of 1947 my great uncle Jimmy disappeared. He was the baby brother of my grandmother’s three siblings. He was a lawyer who had been working with the FBI against certain high level mafia families at that time. He supposedly went duck hunting in Washington state and just disappeared. All they found was his new gun and boat and the night before my grandmother had a dream about him laying in the bottom of his boat on a mat holding his new gun and saying he just wanted to “go home”. She didn’t even know he had gone out of town or that he had bought a new gun.
She went into premature labor that next day with my mother when she found out that he was missing. To this day we are uncertain if he was murdered or if he was placed into a witness protection program, but my family and I would like answers. My grandmother went to her grave believing he was alive somewhere and Jimmy was her favorite brother so in her memory I would like to find out. With all the forensic cases that are reopened nowadays I think there must be some link they can find. I think our family deserves that much at least….I think my grandmother deserved that much.
