Patti Smith is a fantastic performer. She’s really funny and energetic.

On the 6th I’m going to see her! I’m so excited. My dad saw her once, got some stuff autographed. Wish he could take me…well, my mom says that she has to take me. I’m so happy.

She seems to have a tendency to say shit that is slightly off-script, some of which is a little nuts, but in a good and endearing way. She rocks really hard and doesn’t pretend that she hasn’t lived as much as she has. See Patti! She is the mama of punk rock!
