own a hammock

I want one of those cloth ones, not the uncomfortable rope kind. It would of course be outside of my cottage by the ocean. I would sway all day and listen to the waves crash or some Jack Johnson music.

Today I’ll be going into a store or two~

Some colorful ones at Target. The frame comes separately… looking for one on sale~

I will probably buy one for now. I want a nice one with a stand that I can put in my front yard. I want to lay around and look at the stars at night. Mother Earth News has directions for making one, and I think I want to give that a try too.

I never really think about hammocks, but whenever they cross my mind, I always wish I had one. Hammocks are so comfortable. My brother was close to installing one in his room and using it as his permanent bed.

i made a kind of cacoon hammock from an old curtain and some rope. it was really comfortable and i hung it up in my room. make sure you have secure places to anchor/tie it to if u have one though

One of my favorite things to do on vacation is to lay in a hammock. It’s so relaxing. Why should I only enjoy laying in a year once or twice per year. Plus, this year on vacation the beach was filled with hammock hogs and I couldn’t get access to one of the very few hammocks available.

I want to create a space for a hammock in my home office. I know this sounds odd. I’ll create a system where I can put the hammock away in a cabinet and just hang it when I want to chill out or work from the hammock. I also hang a second hammock between the oaks in the back yard.

I actually own a hammock, I just need to hang it up in the backyard.

When i had one it rocked! it was awsome to sleep, lay down, sit and swing in it outside in the garden.

My mum would always fall asleep in it and somtimes she would pull of an overnighter what a gun :P

This would be nice. It might help me with one of my other goals: Be quiet more. I will start to look on ebay this is such an easy goal, compared to Raise great kids, and learn braille. I really should try to knock this one off my list
