How I did it: I saved up my pocket money, did more chores arount the hhouse and for other family members, babysat, became extra charming ;] just kidding also christmas helped me get over the last hurdle, thanks to my generous family :]
before i decided to add this goal i used to spend a lot of money on books but when i started working in oxfam i saw how cheap these books (in very good condition) were and that helped me save some money.
i also saved up lunch money and spent less money on clothes and things like that.
i wasn't really saving up for anything except maybe travelling but it just feels good to work towards something :] Read how I did it… 13 months ago

christmas was good to me this year =D other than the £300 i also got a vera wang necklace and bracelet from my mum and dad, new clothes, new shoes, books, dvds, notebooks, a doctor who annual, chocolates, first aid kit, perfume and make up. Although i didn’t get the ddr wii game i wanted but it doesn’t matter because I lurrve what i got!! =]

last of the xmas gifts = £74

£30 poorer but jess.n and hannah’s xmas pressies have been bought yay =D
so I’ve now got my parents, jess.n and hannah’s presents sorted, I need to buy my nana and grandad, cousin leah, jess.b, sarah, jamie, liam and alex’s pressies to buy. I was going to buy my form tutor and the rest of my form small presents too, but my mum is going to do that instead yay that’s less money for me to spend =D
The rest of the relatives are going to get presents bought by my mum and dad with my name attached, I’m getting leah a separate present too because she’s my favourite cousin =) 14 months ago
I managed to get up to £180 but then I had to buy my mum and dad their christmas presents. I would have less that £130 if the bank of dad hadn’t helped me pay for my mum’s pressent.
I need to buys xmas presents for my friends too =S
On the postitive I will probably get all the money back and then some when xmas comes so chin up =D 14 months ago
I actually did nearly have £200 but then I went shopping and bought some winter clothes and things and also this money will continue to fall becuase xmas is coming up =D 15 months ago
So great to be in triple figures Lol. This is what I’ve been doing:
-not really spending my pocket money
-sometimes skipping lunch and saving the money instead
plus my mum’s friend paid me £30 for babysitting her two kids for 2 eveningd which was well good and she said she’ll ask me again next time she needs me - how cool is that? 16 months ago

I’ve only got £20 right now because I spent most of my money on Spain, clothes, getting my hair done, so I’ve got to save for ages now! I only get £10 a week which isn’t a lot unfortunetly.
