find my biological mother

I am 22 years old and was adopted when I was 11 months old. I don’t know too much. What I do know is that my biological mothers name was Julie Berry. I was born @ John Sealy Hospital in Galveston Texas on November 5, 1985. My name before adoption was Tracy Nicole I think. I was adopted by Rita and Elbert Clark. An Update for anyone who’s been following our story. There are a few posts here.

I was blessed and my Father was also looking for me and he found me June 18th of this year. I went to meet him July 18th and we bonded quite nicely. He’s a kind man who loves life and I felt like I had known him all these long years.

Unfortunetly, nothing is perfect in life and he’s not well. He is 68 years old and has COPD with several complications. He’s also a cancer survivor three times over and has some residual health complications as a result. He says he’ll live to be 105 years old and I hope he’s right. No matter what, at this point I feel so lucky to have met him at all.

We talk lots on email. He writes me long and detailed emails each day and I read them with nothing less than enthusiasm. My replies are as long and as detailed as I feel there is so much to tell him.

I also 10 siblings I did not know about 6 of which are still living. I am the youngest of all my siblings. One of these is a sister with whom I’m growing close. She was with me in her twenties when I was a baby so she has been missing me for many years. It’s nice to feel this loved. We haven’t yet met but our relationship is growing through the Internet.

As I said, my story is a happy one so far and I feel so priveledge to be living this experience. I wish everyone missing a parent could be so lucky.

Hi Everyone!!!

I wrote a previous entry telling you to never give up. It’s still posted back in the dates if you would like to read it.

This is an update. I am leaving to meet my biological Father for the first time this Friday. He lives very far away. I’ll be taking a 27 hour bus ride to his house, staying there for a day and a half and taking another 27 hour bus ride back. I’m quite excited to meet him.

I share this with all of you because I have been reading all your entries since the day I found him and want you all to keep hope. I also wish I could help you all find your own fathers.

Many of you leave requests for assistance in these posts without complete information. Please leave more details to work with and I will do everything I can to help you all.

I wish you all the best in filling the void that I know you all have. No one should wonder where their parent is.

I’ll post again when I get back to share on the experience.

Her name is Tania Lynn Collins.
I hear she is either residing in DeSoto, IL or Murphysboro, IL.

Possibly even Grand Tower or any of the surrounding areas.

My name is Angel and I wanted to share with you all. Please don’t despair. I found out about my real father when I was 11 years old and it was a long and painful search for many years. I looked everywhere I could think of. I had Children’s Aid Services looking (I was in foster care), I called over 1500 people long distance. I had 2 police officers do searches and 1 private investigator.

I am now nearly 30 and on June 18th 2008 (yes, almost 2 weeks ago) He found me!!!

I was still actively searching but after so many years it was starting to look bleak. He too had been searching all these years and he found my Grand Father and through him, me. We’ve been sending emails every day for the last 2 weeks and plan to meet as soon as we can (he lives 20 hours away).

I share this because during my search I needed to hear stories like these to keep me searching hard. Please people, search hard and never give up!!! Even if you don’t end up liking the person you find, you’ll be glad you never gave up.

If any of you are interested in help, send me all the info you have on your missing parents and I will do what I can to help you search.
