Avoid eviction

Still hanging in there, looked at a bunch of dumps, cried tears of frustration yesterday morning…sigh.

As I knew before I stepped into the office, the system is not set up for me.

I make exactly 47 dollars too much to receive any help whatsoever.

And I won’t even bemoan the fact that if I were a crackhead with 4 kids, they’d give me the friggin’ world on a platter.

I’ll help myself. Fuck the system.

My the home that I rent is on the market. The landlord speculated on several properties in a “marginal” neighborhood. “Marginal” means that enought people with money to buy houses are scared away by the diversity of the neighborhood that I can afford to rent a nice home with good neighbors. The real estate agent told me two months ago that the house would sell in less than 10 days. Thanks to rising interest rates and warming weather, I think I may actually get to stay until graduation in June

I moved in last Wednesday…bought a desk, got the cat set up and happy. Today…only 5 days later, the landlord stops by to tell me he is putting the house on the market@@! Uggh. Just need to hang on until June.
