be more ballsy

This year has been about understanding the potential of ballsyness and there have been some steps taken… but the new year is already starting off with me in a leadership role, front and centre, and to be honest I am going to make it a year of ballsyness in action.

to the rescue? Need to see what he’s doing, I am pretty fearless but really have a strong fear that I need to deal with. I’ll put up the bat signal and see if I get a response.

Actually, only one big chance to be ballsy and face fear. Sure I crashed and burned, but the little opportunities all went well. Ha!

I’m losing the ballsiness and it’s costing me. I am going to just throw that arm up, dial that number, chat that person up and more and more…

Whoa, so many opportunities to be ballsy! I love it.

Seriously, I have been! Wow! I mean there are still things I don’t consistently do but I definitely do a lot more of, trust me on that. In particular over the last six weeks I have looked for and accepted personal challenges with a pretty good rate of success. Kudos to me for sure. The concept of feeling what is like in the moment of fear and not fighting it or replacing it with a bunch of mental distraction is truly a new found secret to life for me.

I’ve been hounding them by email. Today I phoned them.

Tomorrow I will phone the correct person (who is on holiday today).

Next week I will turn up and sit in their waiting room glaring at them until they give me the dough. (maybe)

Two incidents of ballsiness today… one, I went into a local shop that interests me and asked the owner if I could take his portrait. Yes, he said.

Then, because I’ve arranged to shoot a nice young lady in her wedding dress for some portraits, I went into the flower shop and asked if they could make a small bouquet in exchange for some prints. No, they said… but I was really glad I asked. Worth a try :)

This ballsiness leads to stress and fatigue.

I shall be a little bit less ballsy next week, then pick up again the week after.

When you are ballsy, people start expecting things of you, and now I find I have to buy a dinner jacket.

Still… gotta work hard if I’m going to make a go of this business.

The ballsiness on the Hindu festival paid off – I received a phone call on Friday and it looks like we’re on.
