No more credit card debt!  — 22 hours ago

Worth doing!

I wrote the last check on Monday. Any day now, I should be getting some sort of confirmation that the final payment was applied, and that my balance is zero.

Feels damn good, too!

My total right now is about 7000. It’s like I can’t get away from that number, I’ll get down to 6000 and then back up. Oh well. At least my credit score is good.

Discouraged  — 3 days ago

I have been out of work for an unjustifiable 6 months and my MC is up to almost $4,000. I had a series of overdraft fees associated with my friend’s wedding and so I now also owe $150 on my Visa. It is never ending.

Worth doing!

I exercised some stock options and will use part of the proceeds to pay off the last card. I was hoping I would receive tax refunds and/or the economic “stimulus” check (w/e it’s called), but neither has arrived. I’m frustrated with the delays, so I’d rather simply stop paying the interest.

I have had a lot of unexpected expenses this month….Which is slowing my progress.
I can’t lose hope here. Just keep going….That’s all I can do.

money sucks  — 2 weeks ago

I was doing so well with my credit cards until I suddenly had all financial obligation thrown on me. I am a student, and my mom told me this past fall that my dad was retiring and I would have to pay for college myself. That included my $600 re-registration. Then my car died, and I had to put a lot of money into it. I’ve got about $1500 to pay off, and no way to do it :-\
