I told my friends about it way back then. We never got around to it. But! Now we have plans to have it Monday night! So excited. It will be our last real summer hang out before school starts. The perfect thing. =]

Amparo0508 has been on 43 things for such a long time!!!
I finally see an end to this goal in sight and think it would make for a great night.
If I’m still dating my gf in October, we will have been dating for 2 years. The reason I say “if” is because I recently brought up a major issue in our relationship andreally hope we can work it out but who knows…
Anyway, we started dating the night as undergraduates at Uconn, looking up at the stars on this giant hill that overlooks campus, and we saw shooting stars. It was really magical. :) so, who knows how we are by then, but on October 20th 2009, I want to try this at midnight or 11:30ish with a bottle of wine and some snacks :)

Such a great idea!
I’ve been telling my friends we should have a picnic. But this sounds so much more fun.
I’ll bring this up to them tomorrow. =]

lunachick is actively immersed in making New Orleans a safer place to live.
I was feeling ill for most of the weekend (due to quitting my nasty habit, the recent change in the weather and/or allergies—most likely all of these things to one degree or another).
Sweet Guy has his heart set on making muffulettas (I’d been thinking more along the lines of finger food/tapas). I know it’s making him happy to plan something for us to enjoy, so I’m trying to “get gracious” about his taking over and running with this (it’s not something I’m used to).

I mentioned this to Sweet Guy; he knows an actual sandy beach not ten minutes’ from my home in the French Quarter (color me surprised!).
It turns out that one of his favorite things is “picnics in obscure locations,” and he’s not yet enjoyed a picnic under the moonlight before. Weather permitting, this will be something we’ll be enjoying this coming Saturday night.

Lanie trying hard to CTR!
I seen this goal on someone else’s list and I thought “how romantic”! I am going to take my amazing husband Joel on a midnight picinic, maybe by the lake near our home. Oh, the possibilities!

hjahangiri is reaffirming commitment to her goals.
Used to have late night picnics when dating the man who is now my husband. For safety and privacy, we’d take our picnic fare to the tables on the grounds of the company where I worked. Of course, they had 24 hour security (cameras and patrols). But I was 19, they all knew me, and they looked after me like I was their own kid – without being obtrusive. It felt much safer than going to a public park at that hour, and much less dorky than having a midnight picnic in my OWN back yard or by the pool at the apartment complex where my husband lived at the time!
