I have enjoyed the holiday events but have also fit in healthy food and exercise. For comfort I have made time for a couple of movies and time with my husband. It really helps not to be rushed this weekend.

DJPimpDaddy is sick of refering to himself in 3rd person.
I have begun playing a little video games again, or watching a 30 minute show/cartoon like Ventura Brothers. That made me smile.
Mani/pedi followed by a sensible but still satisfying and a bit of a treat Saturday dinner. Also did well Friday. :)

Monday and Tuesday were not good, but by Wednesday I was making better choices. Thursday was also pretty good (though not perfect) and Friday was fine.
I did good this weekend but then had too many stress snacks at work. I need to have a better plan in mind for these… like I won’t have the doughnut but instead I will later do something else. I’ve decided for now that thing is to go get some mint tea. If I still want the treat after half of the tea is gone, okay. I’ll see how this goes. No donuts, chocolate, chips, or other similar things until after I get and drink some of the tea.
Too many sweet snacks that I feel I “needed” but I really can’t tell why.
I’ve found one thing that helps is to have something booked to really look forward too – like a class or movie or something. That helps lighten my need for the “comfort” that lead to eating.
There was one comfort experience this past week but really not as much as normal. I’m glad I created this goal, realizing that I needed it taught me a lot.
