Alice604 push myself too hard again...remember to stop and smell roses
Although I said some ‘no’s in May, I’d said enough ‘yes’es. I felt great.
Bye bye May!
How I did it: with excpetion to things that i knew i really shouldnt be doing everytime, i just agreed to do more things, go out, experience new things.i went on hols and enrolled in classes that i never would have done otherwise. i said no it was very easy to feel bad as i got more into saying yes.i'm glad that another member of this team has suggested and organised another month of yeses.its proof that my attempt to get… Read how I did it…
How I did it: The floor proctor was the skydiving instructor. I stopped him in the halwway and said I wanted to join the club. for two days we practice jumping off of the hood of a car onto the grass and then went to the airstip and sat in the front floorboard ( no seat) of a Cessna 182 with the door removed (because it had no JUMP door" we practiced getting out and hanging on the strut. "Go" was the que to drop away and arch .... count to three … Read how I did it…

Think I’ve been flagging on this a bit and have said no to quite a few things, yesterday I kept getting asked if I wanted coffee and had about 4 or 5 coffees in roughly an hour…odd…
Think I need to go back to being aware of this for the June goal :=) but all in all it worked as some good stuff came out of it: a social life, inordinate amounts of coffee, some work experience, driving lessons hmm not sure what else. But I got a bit lazy towards the last two weeks or so and didn’t want to say yes to things cos it was complicated and involved effort, also there were certain times when they were just asking out of politeness.
But here’s to next month!
MayMunster i won't always love what i'll never have..
i’ve been more social and have said yes to going out with people, for bbqs, shopping, parties, last minute things etc.
bought credit and been texting people, which i never do.
did my exams and let go of the fears of failing.
said yes to trying new food and drinks and didn’t hate it.
can’t think of other things i’ve done now..
but would like to do a little more so i’m up for the next month :]

Maybe we should make this a goal for June as well?
So far I’ve not done too badly: got driving lessons, am doing work experience and some volunteering and this month I actually had a social life although tailing off at the moment, I have said no to quite a few things…not sure what to do about keeping it up.
i’ve been slipping over the past week.ne words of encouragement?for thwhole group?since we havent had much feedback?hope ur all too busy to come online and share lol ;-)

Think yeses also count as positivity and saying ‘yes’ to yourself, when you for instance think of something, consider it and then decide its a bit out there/or why would you do that?
So yeses should be something I say to myself as well.
I finally started a blog…which I have to figure out what I want to say on, I have loads of ideas -quite detailed, but they tend to be when I’m away from a computer/paper.
I re-started The Artist’s Way, which I’ve been meaning to do for ages.
I had a long pampering bath.
Re-said yes to some opportunities, which I thought I wouldn’t be able to do.
Started reading a Danish book, which I’ve been meaning to do for ages.

Said a big No to something today…blah although yes to some others, but the big no actually involved leaving the house and interacting with people whereas the little yeses didn’t.
Not sure of the ‘regulations’ on this either, on Saturday I was asked to go out with my family but had already said ‘yes’ to some friends, but then they all (but one) cancelled and changed the activity so I said yes to family instead…Should I have said yes to my friend instead? Probably would have been polite :) Ah the dilemmas of yesdom.
Here’s wishing lots of opportunities to say yes to the rest of the team!
wouldnt normally agree to these….
sing karaoke (awful!)
do a work course (realy good!)
go away with people i don’t know well at all (scary)
entered all the competitions in a magazine (fingers crossed!)
