I must achieve this by next june, partly because I want to have a grade so that I can actually have some sort of rating as a guitarist without having to show people how good I am, but it is mostly for my uni course I want to do next year when I have finished my college diploma.

This is because the minimum grade entry for the course is grade 6 in any instrument aswell as having MMM (Merit, Merit, Merit for those who don’t know what it means, its better then a pass but not as good as a distinction)

Took grade 5 this june just gone and i found got my results in the post today which say i was a high fail (means i missed a pass by 5 marks or less) which really sucks, but I can take the test again in september/october, december/january, march/april aswell as june again when my college will fund it for me (I think those are the righr months :S)

I think if I do grade 5 again I will pass it no problem as since the test I still kept practicing what was in the exam books as it is good practice and warm up exercises. So I am setting this as my goal for next september.
