The news wasn’t as good this time around – 34,000.

However, I am being allowed a 6 month reprive because my doc is going out of the country. I got the usual lecture – “see your rheumy, call with any break through symptoms and if the cold you have isn’t gone in another week go see the GP”

I have a 3:30 appointment and I fear the head cold I’ve been fighting for a week may effect my counts. I’m trying to remain positive and in the mean time, I’m off to read before bed…

UP!!!

I went to the doc yesterday and came away with fair counts – 49,000!

Less then last time but seeing as I was unmedicated & they dropped less then 10K – that’s a success if you ask me! I think it’s time to retire this goal because I won’t go back for a re-check until September. Thank you to one & all for your support!!! =)

It’s June, so there’s not much time left.

Climb, platelets, climb! You can do it! Higher, higher!

I’ve had this goal on my list for a while now and I’ve not really know what to write that would inspire Tartsy’s platelets to climb higher. Working as a paramedic, I know what to recommend she eats and what vitamins and supplements might help. I’m sure she already knows all that stuff though. But as I neared my landmark cheer event I thought hey why not, so Tartsy, here’s given cheer number 99999 all for you and your platelets. May they climb higher and higher, so that you clot faster and faster.
