After all, Cookie is an ancient Welsh name. It literally means firm leak. yes I do realise how to spell leek
The original spelling included 3 ls, but was changed by the English, because, well basically, it was ridiculous. When pronounced properly (with a Welsh accent) you have to spray everyone around you with spittle and sound like you’re clearing your throat.
