gear up for the painting workshop in September

I ordered it from a fellow artist/woodworker. I hope that he can make it for me based on the photograph I gave him of someone elses. You would think something like that would be fairly easy to find. but no. I also found a great deal on some more brushes at a bargain place today. I plan to go painting this evening.

from Dick Blick. Not much else to do. Called the organizer…that was smart because she didn’t have me signed up (even though they took it out of my credit card)! sent in my additional 10 dollars for the paint out that begins before the workshop.

so that it is much much smaller. This is a big help too—the least stuff I have to haul around the better.

I am working on putting everything into it that I need. No more hauling around a boatload of stuff!

and I still don’t have everything I need. “Gearing up” is a positive thing because it is forcing me to buy decent brushes. I am checking eBay for some other items. I plan to write out specific goals for this workshop and to do plenty of practice pieces in advance.
