but that is a milestone in and of itself. I was surprised at which piece it was. All this competition/workshop stuff is exhausting-——but exciting.

it does remain to be seen if anything is accepted. I submitted five paintings and the competition is fierce. I didn’t realize so many good artists would come to the surface for a plein air event. I have to give myself a good talking to-that if nothing was accepted-THAT is alright! I entered. Good for me.
going to bed earlish so that I can be up and ready to go. Yesterday late I took two pieces over to the framer for the competition-he promised them back to me by Monday. Better call to remind them on Monday..I sort of can’t believe he can custom frame in such a hurry-very short turn around, hope they aren’t charging me a rush fee or anything.
The Hood River paint-out begins

Tomorrow! Wow, it came up fast. The competition is not limited to the results of this paint out, however. So I might enter my pieces that I have hanging at Synan Gallery. That show comes down just as the entries for this competition starts. Fairly certain I will enter the Cloud Cap painting as well as the Pine Grove painting.
