Starbear is going to stop wasting time right now
I’ve got the telephone number. I’ll phone it on Tuesday
I think i’ve finally developed some courage to wear things that are a little more stylish or different to the norm. It feels good to be able to express your creative flair through your appearance.
Got some great comments on my outfits this holiday weekend. Especially on the little things like my scarf and accessories – which people mentioned were ‘creative’ and ‘different’, and that i was wearing things in ways they’ve never seen before. Its so nice to receive those kind of compliments.
Im trying to decide whether im loving the leather leggings. I’ve seen some girls looking seriously wow in them.. then i’ve seen the bad as well (ie: cheap shiny latex, ‘dominatrix hooker’ style leggings). Wondering if i can find a nice pair in the small town i live in. Then wondering if it would be worth me buying a pair for my short little legs – and if i’d actually ever wear them if I bought them.
Undecided on this issue till i find a pair and try them on.
Very happy with my new gladiator sandals. Finally found a comfy pair that look good on my short legs and dont cut me off at the ankle.
So over the past couple of weeks i’ve gone a bit shoe-crazy.. purchasing three unusual pairs of shoes.
1. Bright yellow flats with a buckle + bow
2. Barbie pink heels (see pic)
3. Ridiculously high heeled lace-ups (see pic)
Im loving the bright colours and styles of these.. and they’re very different from what i’d normally buy (ie: plain, black or neutral). Slowly getting out of my comfort zone.. =)
Im finding im wearing a lot more jewellery/accessories lately! Which is fun. I’ve developed a thing for scarfs (both cotton and woolen).. and in the past few weeks i’ve gone from owning 1 scarf to owning 5! =D
I like adding to my style with accessories. Its quick & easy to put a scarf/headband/bracelet/etc on.. and accessories are such an affordable option for taking something from plain to stylish!
I’ve always been one for simplicity and ‘plain’ clothes. I love jeans, and all things black. Recently i’ve been wishing for the confidence to pull off some more stylish things ….and being in the design industry, i can afford to be a little bit creative with the things i wear.
I bought a filly black floral dress the other day that i’d never usually wear.. but i bought it, wore it, and i loved it! Along with that i bought a pair of shoes that look like witch boots, but i love them too! Im finding im starting to branch out… and im hoping i can keep doing this further and gain some more confidence.
I just gotta stop thinking things like “id never wear that!” or “i love it but i dont know if i can pull it off” and work on getting over that.
I have loads of style. everything i do is about style. But, you can never have too much.
me will be happy once im totally stylish in everything i do:
(1) stylish work : done, freelance designer and artist
(2) fashion sense : getting there.
(3) spaces : need to get this right though
(4) intelligence : this may seem odd, but theres nothing worse than a stupid bimbo dressed in chanel. intelligence is everything. it is totally essential to have style.
