never stop learning new things

My folks, my Aunt and I had lunch today…
I learned that my Aunt and I have a great deal in common… So much so that we were talking shorthand.. and my folks had NO idea what we were saying..
Fun… Hope I get to see her more often…

Man.. when my dad overhauled my copmuter… He added 4 different photo programs!!! And it’s gonna take some time to learn the most technical one… AHHHHHHH
Also… new diagnostic stuff… easy to figure out and run…
So be learning more about the camera as well… ISO, F-stop, shutter speeds… and having the camera set up (there are several places on a dial) for different situations… But it’s getting there….. Just takes practice…

figured out how to take pics into my corell painter and manipulate them…
And then bring them into my Print Shop and make a post card with those images..
Great fun…

figured out of to make little movies with my camera…
just haven’t tried to save them on the computer yet.. that is the next step.

finally figured out how to use the timer on it.
Now I just gotta figure out how to make videos.

Should be simple to just go from one digital to another, right?? WRONG
This new one is wonderful… but it has so many bells and whistles to it.. It’s like learning to take pics all over again.

I bought a bunch of Wrigley’s gum… I am determined to learn how to make those chains of gum wrappers!! Now I just need to chew enough to get started!! LOL

but now I know how to do this.

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Who knew how much work went into putting together one of those free dinners they give to the needy at those churches. A friend asked if I would go along and help… so I did, last night. the first thing they asked me to help with was to peal and slice n dice this HUGE box of peaches!!! So armed with a small knife I went to town… OH MAN… seemed like I would never get to the bottom of that darn box. Then I sliced the bread for them to make garlic bread, put it in pans. After they got every thing ready and it was cooking.. BREAK TIME!!!!!
Then we SERVED the people… Brought them there plates full of food… ( I assumed they would come and get it… wrong)... so more time on my feet!!! But the people getting the food… they were SOOOOO HAPPY.. they would smile and say thankyou!!! Especially when desert came around.
It was amazing… hard work, but so much more fulfilling than delivering meals on wheels… to have helped cook/prepare… hand out to like 100 or so people.. just made me feel warm in my heart…
Maybe I’ll be up in that city next week…and go do it again :]

Inside a house…
I have NEVER done this before… I messed up a few times..
My job was to use the roller and do the bulk of the walls…
and a few times I hit the trim/woodwork up near the ceiling… which needed to be touched up after it dried… OOOOOOPPPPPS
but I found it gratifying… and Learnd that I should have taken my watch off … I got the paint splatters off the face of the watch.. but not the band. Guess it will be a constant reminder of accomplishing this!!!!
