How to visit my hometown by jmbeaner

How I did it: I can't believe I waited four years to go back home.. it is only a 2 1/2 hour drive.  It felt so good to be back.  Even though much has changed, just as much stayed the same.  Two days certainly was not enough time to see everyone I wanted to see!

While I was home I attended a picnic for my cousin who is getting deployed to Iraq in a few days at a park we use to play at as kids.  I cannot even remember the last time I spent 7 hours outside!!

    Going home! 6 months ago

    I can’t believe it’s been four years (especially since “home” is only 2 1/2 hours away) but I am finally heading back to my hometown this coming weekend. I took Friday off work and plan on staying through Sunday. I’m actually getting a little excited!
