Bought a new hard drive! It’s IDE. Previous hard drive croaked.
I can’t afford to do this all at once. Step one is this hard drive. I’m going to install it myself, under the tutelage of my boyfriend, and install a dual-boot Ubuntu and Win XP Pro setup on it.
Eventually I want a new screen and a new video card, which will require a new case and I would assume a new motherboard, and so then I might as well upgrade the processor, and so likely after that I’ll need a case fan… :D
