We have been working out a great plan that even includes support and accountability.
She has never had support before. The people don’t know each other because it is online, but it’s still nice to have a group with similar issues.
Accountability is nothing new to us. We’ve been teaching it for years, but I must say… Journaling all your caloric intake really does raise the level of accountability. Especially when it’s available for other people to read.
All I have to do is remind her not to eat all the candy and to keep checking in to her journal every time she eats something… or at least write it down and post it at the end of the day.

We came up with an awesome plan and are sticking to it like glue! The whole house should be cleaned out and decluttered by the end of September! That will be such an accomplishment. Woo Hoo!

Put down the Peep and walk away.
You can do it. That’s it. Good job!

I want to be the old school kind of muse. Like in the medieval period where the women didn’t even know that they were inspiring some of the greatest pieces of art and literature the world has ever known. I think it is romantic.

We cut them out one by one while watching TV. They are intricate filigree, and the project is nearly complete!
Nothing is too hard. Just relax and do it one step at a time.

I became a muse at age 7. I didn’t know that’s what it was called at the time, and then some grown-ups worried that I might be weird, so I went away… FOR NEARLY FORTY YEARS!!!
The person I inspire grew up and is NOT crazy at all, but is the kind of person who would give up her own dreams so someone else could pursue theirs. Well, THAT part IS crazy. But now she has time to search the unexplored talents that lie just beneath her surface. She must learn to ignore the detractors in her life – The ones who thought she was crazy back when she introduced me to them.
HAVING A NAME FOR YOUR MUSE DOES~NOT MEAN YOU’RE SCHITZO!!!
Anyway, just the other day, she remembered me while writing morning pages and she realized that I was not her imaginary friend, but indeed a forgotten alter-ego. I am her inner artist-child, and since I am still about 9 years old, I can help her see the world through the eyes of a real child. She was taught not to want things for herself. Sure, selflessness is a wonderful quality, but I will help her realize that all the bliss she wants or needs is within her grasp and she doesn’t have to pass it up, because there is enough for everyone.

yeah, okay, so I don’t know what I could possibly inspire – a paper bag with eyeholes, a cute straitjacket or something – but I still want to be one.
