I know that I really want to own a great espresso machine but I am a bit well…I can’t really decide I guess it is that that I save up $500 then buy an espresso machine and all that money it gone I am not quite sure what to do. My one that I have already is great but well we will see how we go….

I am going to start saving about $10 per week and I will start looking right now. I am planning to spend about $800 on it because it pays to get a good one.

Well, I am now the proud owner of an Expobar Office Lever (sometimes called the “Leva”). So this is done. The grinder sucks, it is a Rancilio Rocky and mine seems to be broken as it won’t lock to the various adjustments. This could take a week or so to straighten out.
Until then, I bought some pre-ground to practice with and so far so good. See my related goal for future references. :-)

Coming via UPS: a Rancilio Rocky (doserless) coffee grinder and an Expobar Office Lever. It is very expensive, but worth it. My kitchen will be as well equipped as some cafes. :-)

My goal is a commercial or semi-commercial machine. Not one that is fully plumbed in, but one that passes the NSF standards for use in a restaurant. Looking at 1.8 litre boiler with heat exchanger and a grinder that handles it—Rancillo Rocky or MDF, possibly a Mazzer.
