Today Roux turned three cubed. It seems forever ago now, but I remember when I first encountered Roux here when a group of us were working to help her out with some debt issues as she prepared for the birth of Hudson. One of those people, Lazlozian, created a shirt that he designed based on Roux’s goals and sold with the proceeds going to help Roux. I bought one of those shirts and gave it to my mom as a Christmas present. It was one of the first things I ever bought made by someone from 43Things. Now Laz has had his own baby, and it was great to see Roux’s message congratulating him as we congratulated her years ago. Anyway, here’s my wishes for Roux for the coming year:
May she always have as strong a relationship with Hudson as she does now, and surprise him with fun adventures. May she make the time to go to the gym at least twice a week while also making the time to commit to her studies. And may she continue to make progress at getting out of debt.
