Favourite Websites have become a regular Thurday feature on my blog … there are just so many websites and blogs that I enjoy that workign on this goal is something that I can do in advance and future date.
Future dating (writing something today but giving it a date to post a few days or even a few months from now) is a great way for anyone interested in blogging to maximize their efforts.
Think about magazine for a minute, most people pretty much know that the articles, especially features, are written months in advance. (On the marketing side of things I had most Christmas plans done just after tax day, yes April!) Editorially Christmas things were usually done in August and September. So why not apply that background to blogging?
I’ve already written several items about favourite websites and they will spring up from time to time; in the meantime new favorites will fill in the holes.
