Becca I think my goals need to be more specific
- Find a good guitar website that teaches chords
- Buy some new strings
- Try to learn one new chord a day at least 4 days out of every week

So I’ve taken lessons in the past, group and private. And I’ve always gotten stopped by the damn F chord. But I think I figured out that if I get an electric guitar, instead of the shitty acoustic I had, then the strings will be closer together and easier to press down. I think I could do it if I did that.
I bought a kiddies guitar last week for £90. Didn’t just get the guitar! Oh no, I also got a mini Marhsall amp, a strap, lead and 3 picks.
So. The story so far. I got guitar lessons when I was 15 years old as I got gifted a flamenco (pah) guitar. Lessons lasted for about a year, but at that time I had just discovered the xylophone so decided to take that up seriously and neglected the guitar. Plus, my hands are teeny so I found playing it a wee bit difficult.
When I saw this little 1/2 sized guitar, I knew it was for me! Pink and the perfect size for my hands…
I have managed to learn (so far):
“Dr. Strangelove”- Blonde Redhead
“Here comes your man”- the Pixies
“Pioneer to the falls”- Interpol
Next up…
Muse :D
Maybe…
Any suggestions of easy-ish songs?!
