Job interview today! Awesome little independant coffee shop with sick art on the walls, Jazz covers of the Beatles playing and REALLY yummy looking food. It’s like 5 minutes from my new place (literally) and the customers were so friendly. It seemed to go OK, but I think they interviewed a whole bunch of people, so I dunno.
Here’s hoping!
(Hollaback! Smiths reference?)

I already have a job I love (hey, I’m allowed to sit on 43 things all day here, how can I NOT love it?) but it’s just part time. I’m about to take a big leap forward in my adulthood by FINALLY moving out of my Dad’s place and, while this current job has been more than satisfactory keeping me in booze and smokes and shit…it’s not enough with rent and bills and everything all piled on. Money’s gonna be tight. So off I go to be a waitress. Sweet.
It is SUCH a nasty economy to be looking for a job right now…I’m dreading doing it all over again. Yuck.

I have finally found at job at a theme park-type place…it’s not bad, a bit tiring but I don’t mind talking to people and I’m not going to complain about the money either…hehe :)

Am working full time doing a job that I love . I have 2 wonderful grown kids who busy studying. I need and want to help them going thru it as am a single mother. the best for me to do it is work. And the bonus will get another 2 job in the evening that I love as my present one. the trouble is that am a bit of a procrastinator so everyday i say i will do so and so for my search of a new job and nothing meaningful is not really being done. hope that by this time next month will have my new seconf job.

After years of working so hard, getting a pay that isn’t enough for all the effort I’ve put in, having co-workers who have lost their enthusiasm for their jobs and are basically just there for the paycheck, and a management who barely listened to us made me lose all interest in ever working. So, I resigned without looking for another job first. I wanted to rest my tired self.
But, life has to go on… It’s been months being like a bum but I have bills to pay and things I wanna buy. Earning money for doing small things ain’t gonna pay my bills. And I can’t apply on jobs I want because I lack experience on those fields. I just recently got myself a project to work on and it gave me quite a sense of direction. Still, it’s no full-time job. But it’s a start. After this, I gotta rev up my resume and start hunting…
