During my highschool years, I vowewd never go to college. Despite my love for learning, sitting at a desk and learning off a chalk board drove me nuts. After I took some time off after HS i decided I should give it a try. My goal was to graduate with honors.
I graduated this past May with a degree in social work and a gpa of 3.6

even though my grades have been dropping some. I’ve been getting a few Cs the last couple of semesters in classes that I really didn’t care about. The most frustrating was the class this last semester that I ended up not even needing. I’m still at a 3.8 though, and with only two semesters to go I am sure that I will be able to keep my average over 3.5.
i hope this will happen. i have a 3.6 right now, so if i can just keep it up, i should make it.

I’m not really sure of the conversion to a system out of 4.0 (we ahve a different system here in Australia), but when I calculated it based on how a website told me to I got about a 3.75 – so I reckon even if I’m wrong it would still be above 3.5.

i have one semester and two summer sessions left. i have a 3.2 now. i need above 3.5 in each of those terms to achieve this goal.
A sub-par quarter with a class gone bad is not going to let this happen. Unless I can appeal the class I failed last quarter even a 3.4 is far off. I think I have a good case to appeal the grade. I just don’t look forward to it. I know I’m not the only one to fail the class.
