Oooh, what a nice fancy phone! I’m sure I will enjoy it. :)
How I did it: I was given £100 for Christmas to get a new phone. I did loads of research into what phones o2 did and read reviews. I decided on a Sony Ericsson w910i. It keeps dying and is a lot less reliable than my old Samsung e900. :( Read how I did it…

Well, it’s not that I’m materialistic or something. It’s just that my old phone is about to give up. It already has a lot of defects and the battery is really weak. It won’t stay on in calls, the keypad is hard to press, the down navogator button doesn’t work properly, sometimes it suddenly blanks out, it would say “Insert Sim Card” with my sim inserted perfectly… Well maybe it’s just asking to retire. I’ve used it for more than four years now, and with all the speed-of-light-fast innovations today, it’s probably time to update my gadget. Phones are really useful, like when I get lost going someplace new (which happens almost everytime I go somewhere new) or connecting to classmates to clarify stuff about our homeworks and other things like that. So I’m really saving up so I could get a new phone.
I received a razr last year for christmas, so I think I won’t need a new phone for ages.
It’s nice to have something new n sleek though. Something not so heavy.
Bought a new phone last week-end, on impulse (that’s the way I get things done the most efficiently;-) ). Its quite nice actually, shiny dark grey with a clamshell and small 2nd display… Also, I won’t have to charge this one every night!!
This is done at last:-)
It’s pretty good, hopefully having it with me all the time will enable me to take some better photos, since the camera is much better than the one on my old Nokia 6230i
I have to get a bill pay phone to have an extra proof of address for my credit card application.
Now if they stop discontinuing the only phones I like when I enquire about them, I should be able to get that done!!
I decided to finally act on that:-) After about a year!!!
Anyway, I’m pretty much decided on what I want, so should get it soon:-)
I was overdue for an upgrade but too lazy to do anything about it. I was going to just cancel my contract and get a new phone on a different network/tariff, as what they had offered me I didn’t want. I didn’t feel comfortable asking for what I wanted.
So I phoned up to cancel and did end up getting an upgrade.
I told them what phone I want and what sort of tariff I need, and I managed to get an extra 400 texts than they were offering for the same price! So I’ve got a gorgeous phone that I adore, and am saving money every month on my tariff!
It’s true that if you don’t ask, you don’t get!
lol, i still have the same crummy phone I got 3+ years ago. Surely I’m up for a new phone :)
