Buy a rice cooker.

Rice cookers can do so much! I’ve pretty much come to the conclusion that if you can make it, you can make it in a rice cooker. Seriously, its pretty darn amazing! Try it out. I make all sorts of dishes in it, and I’m vegan and living in a college dorm.

I got mine for rose rice and it works just great for that but it really hates full-on hippie brown rice. It get all goopy inside and out.

Unfortunately, I have become addicted to brown basmati and brown jasmine rice…

Rice cooker is such a narrow term for this multi-purpose food preparation instrument. Put salmon in there (on a steaming insert) for the most deliciously tender result you have ever tasted.
It is simply brilliant!

I found it on a trash heap. Actually, I found 3 of them on 3 different trash heaps. I used parts from others to fix the one and have been using it for 10 years now. I love trash heaps. And rice.

will I live without a rice cooker. I love it! Anyone who eats rice as much as I do needs one. A great way to cook it while preparing other things and not having to worry about it burning. Comes out perfect everytime!

I just hate cooking rice in a regular pot and having it all stick to the bottom and come out crunchy, is all.

I love my rice cooker and I’ve had it for about 4 years and it still works!

Kind of a lame goal, but if I don’t put it down I’m never going to do it. I want to get another rice cooker. My mom has pretty much claimed mine so I need a replacement. And with how tight money is here something as cheap as rice would be more than welcome, however I hate sitting watching a pot.
