Didn't get married in Hawaii 22 months ago

Married at Sunset 2 years ago

All I can say is it was worth all the hard work and every penny to look into my beloved’s eyes and be married at sunset. No fuss, no annoying relatives, just the beauty of the island and my soulmate beside me-what better way to begin our life together?

I can’t beat that…. :) Our wedding was perfect. The weather, the scenery, the man. I finally got my dream wedding. We eloped and had our honeymoon there…no one but us. 100% stress free, just how I imagined it should be.

hitched in hawaii 3 years ago

6 months pregnant with our second kid, on a business trip in waikiki, we decided that maybe #2 wouldn’t be a bastard child like #1, so why not? two days before we left for hawaii, we booked a wedding ceremony on the “love boat” (no kidding, it was called that, owned by Reverand Kermit). we took two friends with us, and we were off with Captain Ken on a lovely Friday evening at sunset. the cruise lasted two hours, and we brought along a CD we made before the trip. it was a wonderful, no-stress ceremony!

I dream of black sand beaches and waterfalls. 3 years ago

I think it’s unusual for a man to have a dream wedding. But I have a pretty reticent belief about love. I’m also a bit shy; and a romantic to boot. So, yeah I’m a little unusual.

I don’t want anything really big. I’m not against crowds when I’m amongst them. I have a personality that excels in small venues. The thought of being the object of focus scares the hebbies out of me. So I’d prefer something intimate. It’s our day, right?

I saw a TV program a long time ago were the marriage was held on a bluff with a crashing waterfall backdrop. The groom wore a summer suit and the bride was barefoot in a simple white dress. This is the wedding I imagine.

ocean, sand at feet..paradise! 4 years ago

When and IF the day happens, it needs to be somewhere tropical, quaint and relaxed. Hawaii fits this description perfectly. Plus I can accomplish some other things on my list – like surf!
