Visit Strawberry Fields

Well I hope to go sometime this year. And I also want to visit the Dakota building.

Beautiful every single time…

I visited Strawberry Fields for the first time a few days ago while on a trip to NYC. It was beautiful and very moving—I’m a huge John Lennon fan! The flowers on it that day just made it colorful! We also went to the Dakota across the street where Lennon was shot. Overall, this was a great historical little piece of my trip, as well as a little sad!

It was in November and the grass was still bright green, but the trees were the most amazing shades of orange and red. There is something strange about visiting such a place marking an event that happened in my lifetime. It is a beautiful, quiet place. It is an example of how people can turn tragedy into peace.

It was very beautiful and there were many offerings there. I was quite touched.

One of the most fascinating people ever. I have read so many books on John Lennon and I have almost all of the Beatles albums. I want to visit his memorial since I never got to see him in person.
