Poppies are my new favorite flower.
How I did it: I use my camera on my phone its not brilliant but good enough for snapshots. I take photos daily just to document our daily life, the children are growing up fast now so its good to have something to look back on :0) Read how I did it…
How I did it: Having a baby motivated me to take more pictures. I originally set myself a goal to take her picture at least once a day. That lasted about a month, lol. After that I tried to take photos regularly, and always on the 25th of the month, the anniversary of her birth. Read how I did it…

How I did it: We had flooding in my town and I went and waded through knee high water and just taking pictures of the flooding. The colors in this photo remind me of an egg plant I used to have. Not the kind you eat, but the kind you let grow on your window sill. In a cardboard box, there is a creamy white ceramic egg that sits in a brown terracotta dish. The top of the ceramic egg is gently cracked open with a spoon to reveal soil and a tiny packet of seeds. You plant and water the seeds, then wait patiently for little green sprouts to grow from the top of the egg.

There is a bird bath in my yard. The purple salvia that surrounds the bath continues to grow higher and higher, slowly concealing the bath more each day. For some reason unbeknownst to me, the water has been dyed a deep ruby color. I think it might be the sun’s trick. However or for whatever reason the water turned that way, the two colors look beautiful together.
