take Photography lessons

I love taking pictures. I’m just an amateur though. I would really like to learn how to use my camera, and eventually get a better camera. I would like an Nikon SLR and am saving money toward one right now.

There are adult education classes offered in my area. I missed the one for this fall, but plan to sign up for the one in the spring. Maybe by then I will have my new camera to take with me. Until then, I will practice with the little Canon I currently own.

I looked into taking a photography class at the university I attend, but the one I like is only offered in the fall semester. Looks like another 8 months before this goal will be accomplished.

instead of drawing all the time, this winter i just took pictures of the frost and ice and stuff in my area. it was probably one of the most liberating things i’ve ever done. some of them weren’t good and lacked simple compositional elements but some of them were actually pretty good, i was told…yaay!

images form a very important part of my career, so taking photography lessons would be very helpfull, i have taken them, but I think i need to freshen them up a bit.
