have my own band

Spot on the thin line between “music nerd” and “elitist hipster jerk” I met someone exactly like me while I was goofing around some party. Turns out he wants to form a band together since we’ve both got the tunes. Apparently, my parents are against me going to some guy’s house to jam. And we even had a name and a couple of songs ready. Sucks to be me.

I’m now part of a jazz/psychedelic troupe (not really a band—only two members are permanent) called the Skeleton Equation. We still have to work some songs out but the concept is really cool and everyone involved is quite talented.

its so hard b/c i wanna be the singer but i have some stage fright and so yeah

Yeah, that’d be the name since it means the state of being dead, idk why but I read that somewhere so, I decided 2 adopt it and I’d be the most relevant person in the band, the lead singer of course.

well to all the people who are primarily singers and can’t find any talented instrument playing friends…..
