I swindled the art teacher at my school to open the tiny tiny tiny black room for me. I’m the first person using it in five years. Some of the chemicals haven’t expired! :)

I love to take photos, and tinker with my images.. but I would really like to be able to develop my own photos, it would bring them to a whole new level. It would be so awesome, to have a dark room right in my house… I will do this, soon. When the money is there, and the feeling is right.

photos are awesome!!! i love it and i had one of my photographs displayed at the museum of contemporary photography…its great and the more you do it the better it gets and you can stop thinking about the chemical times and rolling your film an more about the quality of your pictures…black and white pictures are timeless…

fun. 2 years ago

it’s very fun and exciting.
i spent a week making prints and matting them (black and white), and i had a great time.
it’s hard to learn at first, to remember all the times, and the order of chemicals.
i had a really hard time with the film, and i don’t think i’m very good at it.
it was an awesome experience though, a real rush to know that i was making my own photos.

YEEEESSSS! 2 years ago

I’m taking a wet photography class and tonight was the night we actually made contact sheets! Not terribly involved, but nevertheless… we used enlargers, and got to poke around in fixer and stop and developer with tongs. Nothing smells better than FG-7.

It's started! 2 years ago

I got to process my first roll of film on January 24th (my birthday), and had such a great time. Next week, we’re going to start printing, and I can’t wait!!!
