It’s over, and I’m going to write on last thing.
Meg, one of the puppies developed heart troubles so we have decided on keeping her! (She’s the one second from the left).
So now we have mum, dad, and baby at home.
I’d love to say breeding puppies is easy, but it’s not, but it’s so so worth it. I think we might be doing it again. Eeek!

The puppies are only a week from their selling date of 8 weeks!
They are let out more than a couple of times daily, are on dog food/puppy pouches (although they still like mummies milk) and are generally creating a huge mess. Their names are -
Bonnie (Bitch, not sold yet) – The smallest, and cutest! No spots, and she loves the outdoors and a good fight :P
Buddy (Dog, sold to my boyfriend’s grandparents) – The ‘indiana jones’ of the puppy world. Loves a good adventure and has a big patch on his hiney. I’ll get to see him grow up!
Boris (Dog, sold) – He just loves attention and lazing around. Almost a twin to Meg, he’s huge, and has two patches on his back.
Meg (Bitch, sold) – A pure supermodel! She has an adorable face and has a unique white bit on her ear. Same patches as Boris – she loves people, and to play with mum and dad!
Lucy (Bitch, not sold yet) – Formerly ‘Lucky’. She was breached, but has lost her green tinge. Loves to play and is very feisty, especially when around Bonnie. Loves to roll around in muck. :P
As you can see, they all have unique personalites, and I will be sad to see them all go.

It’s an amazing thing… and a LOT of work. Just make sure you have potential homes lined up for all the puppies that might come from the breeding (otherwise you’re just contributing to the companion animal overpopulation problems).

Witnessing birth is something magical. It is gory, but so beautiful at the same time. Just make sure you want it! The pretty part is over soon, and then you have to pick up the shit, and clean up the mess. It does not get much better than that! We love our dogs…
